The Probability Matrix Is Amazing
When I signed up for your "How To Solve All Sudoku Puzzles" newsletter, I wanted to be able to solve some of the harder puzzles or the ones where I get stuck and don't know how to go any further..
The newsletter met my expectations, to a point - I'm still not quite sure how you came up with one particular answer but I was able to solve the puzzle anyway... It really surprised me to learn how to use the probability matrix to solve the puzzles.
I recently encountered a Sudoku puzzle done with letters of the alphabet in the t.v. guide. The first time I tried it I couldn't do it.Once I learned how to do the matrix I was able to solve the next one. You may want to add one done with letters sometime.

I was interested to read your information on the matrix method, as this is what I managed to work out for myself when I first started doing Sudoku puzzles, but I thought it was a very long winded method! I thought there ought to be a more sophisticated method. However, your advice on looking for the cells with only one solution has helped to speed up solving.acurib, Philippines
